This instruction outlines the application, upgrade, and review rules for the Gate P2P Merchant Tier System. Tier thresholds, indicator requirements, and review standards may vary by region. Specific details are subject to the front-end page display and the latest regulations.

Scope of Application

These rules apply to the application, upgrade, and qualification review scenarios within the Gate P2P Merchant Tier System. Current merchant tiers/types include, but are not limited to:

  • Verified Merchant
  • Blue V Merchant
  • Crown Merchant
  • Shield Merchant

Merchant badges, application conditions, upgrade thresholds, and accessible benefits for each merchant tier/type may vary based on region, business strategy, and risk control requirements. Please refer to the front-end page display and relevant rule descriptions for details.

Tier System Description

The P2P Merchant Tier System is used to distinguish merchants based on their fulfillment performance, service capabilities, and platform certification status. Verified, Blue V, and Crown are standard tiers; Shield Merchant is a specialized merchant type that must meet specific certification standards and service requirements beyond basic merchant criteria. The certification standards, service scope, and applicable conditions for Shield Merchants are subject to the relevant Shield rule descriptions.

Application and Upgrade Rules

Merchants can view the tier thresholds and application conditions applicable to their region on the platform page and submit applications according to the on-page instructions. The platform will conduct reviews based on the corresponding tier rules and perform a comprehensive evaluation of the merchant's actual performance.

Merchant tier upgrades are typically based on the results of the platform's comprehensive performance assessment. Evaluation dimensions generally include, but are not limited to:

  • Basic account requirements (e.g., registration duration, identity verification, etc.)
  • Historical trading performance (e.g., order volume, trading volume, completion rate, responsiveness, etc.)
  • Risk and compliance performance (e.g., complaint history, violation records, risk control results, etc.)
  • Security deposit requirements (subject to the rules on the corresponding tier page)
  • Other conditions required by the platform according to business rules

Merchants must meet the application conditions and review requirements for the corresponding tier before submitting an application. The platform will determine whether to approve the application based on the review results.

Tier Threshold Description

The specific thresholds and indicator requirements for Verified, Blue V, Crown, and Shield Merchants (including but not limited to order volume, trading volume, completion rate, responsiveness, registration duration, identity verification, security deposit requirements, etc.) are subject to the front-end page display in the current region.

Should there be any updates to the threshold conditions displayed on the page, the platform will implement the latest on-page rules.

Application and Review of Each Tier

The review focus varies across different merchant tiers/types. For the application or upgrade of Verified, Blue V, and Crown Merchants, the platform typically conducts a comprehensive review of basic account conditions, historical trading performance, fulfillment quality, risk and compliance records, and security deposit requirements.

The application and certification review for Shield Merchants typically involves a comprehensive evaluation of certification standards, service capability requirements, risk records, and security deposit requirements in addition to basic merchant criteria.
Specific application conditions, certification standards, service scopes, and applicable conditions for Shield Merchants are subject to relevant Shield merchant rule descriptions and page displays.

Review Results

Upon submission of an application, the platform will conduct a review based on current rules. During the review process, the platform may require supplementary information or materials as applicable.

Review results include, but are not limited to:

  • Review approved: Activate or upgrade to the corresponding merchant tier/type
  • Review rejected: Maintain the current merchant tier/type
  • Re-review after providing supplementary materials (if applicable)

The platform reserves the right to make judgments on review results based on risk control, compliance, and business rules. After approval, merchants must continue to meet the standards of their corresponding tier; the platform may adjust tiers based on subsequent evaluations.

Tier Maintenance and Dynamic Evaluation

Merchant tiers/types are not fixed. The platform may conduct ongoing evaluations based on the merchant's fulfillment performance, service quality, complaint history, violation records, risk control results, and other relevant factors.
If a merchant's subsequent performance fails to meet the corresponding tier standards or certification requirements, the platform reserves the right to restrict, downgrade, or cancel the respective merchant qualification in accordance with the rules.

Miscellaneous

Merchant tier upgrade rules, review standards, and threshold indicators may be adjusted based on business development, risk control requirements, and compliance needs.
