Gate Announces FUN Token (FUN) Renaming to FUN Token (FUNTOKEN)

Gate will rename FUN Token (FUN) to FUN Token (FUNTOKEN). As part of this process, Gate will suspend deposit, withdrawal and trading services for FUN Token (FUN), including the FUN_USDT spot trading pair, Simple Earn and margin trading on January 12, 2026, 02:00 (UTC).

Gate will take the following steps:

1. Gate has disabled new leveraged lending and collateral lending for the FUN Token (FUN).
2. By January 11, 2026, 07:30 (UTC), the FUN/USDT futures trading will be set to [reduce-only] mode. If you have active positions, please adjust your strategy in advance.
3. At January 11, 2026, 08:00 (UTC), all FUN/USDT positions will be automatically settled based on the average index price from the last 30 minutes before suspension. All unfilled orders will be canceled. Please close your positions before this time to avoid forced settlement.
4. For users with active quantitative trading strategies involving FUN Token (FUN), please adjust strategies in advance. All active strategies will be forcibly terminated before January 11, 2026, 08:00 (UTC).
5. At January 12, 2026, 02:00 (UTC), Gate will suspend FUN Token (FUN) deposit, withdrawal and trading services, including the FUN_USDT spot pair, Simple Earn and margin trading.
6. For users holding FUN Token (FUN) in Simple Earn, please manually redeem your assets in advance, or they will be automatically redeemed before January 12, 2026, 02:00.
7. For users with outstanding FUN Token (FUN) margin loans, please repay your loans in advance. Otherwise, the loans will be automatically settled by January 12, 2026, 02:00.

This renaming only involves a change to the token ticker and does not include any blockchain swap or migration. Gate users do not need to take any additional actions. The security of user assets will not be affected. Once the renaming is complete, the token will be re-evaluated and re-listed under the new ticker. Please stay tuned for further announcements.
