Odaily星球日报讯 Neue Kryptowährungsfirma in Singapur, Penguin Securities, gab den Abschluss einer Finanzierungsrunde in Höhe von etwa 2,8 Milliarden Yen (ca. 18 Millionen US-Dollar) bekannt. Investoren sind unter anderem mint, die Investment Management Company der Tokyo University of Science und andere japanische Investmentinstitute. Das Unternehmen wurde im Februar 2023 von den japanischen Unternehmern Yūya Kuratomi, Kentarō Kawabe und Shō Setoguchi gegründet und erhielt im Jahr 2025 eine Lizenz für Kapitalmarktdienstleistungen von der Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS).
