BlockBeats News, May 6th, according to Anadolu Agency, Trump stated on Tuesday that the U.S. military must enter Iran to carry out missions to ensure the safety of nuclear assets. Trump said, “We will have to pay some prices because we must go into Iran to retrieve nuclear weapons.”

Trump seems to be referring to the approximately 1,000 pounds (453.6 kilograms) of enriched uranium buried under the rubble of targets attacked during the joint U.S.-Israel offensive last June. Iranian Foreign Minister Alaraji confirmed that these materials are “under the debris,” and there are no immediate plans to retrieve them. Trump insisted that the U.S. has effectively destroyed Iran’s nuclear capability. He added that it would take Iran several weeks to access these materials, and the U.S. “won’t let them dig down,” with the military maintaining ongoing surveillance. (Jin10)
