Lately I've been going over various airdrop interaction strategies, and I actually feel quite conflicted: not interacting might mean missing out, but interacting also risks being exploited (to put it plainly, working hard all day and ending up with nothing). My current approach is a bit clumsy: first, check if the protocol is the "survivable" type, at least skim through the documentation and audit reports, and if the permissions/upgrades look suspicious, just skip them—no matter how sweet the honey, I won't go there. Then, keep interactions minimal and genuine, using a commonly used address for normal frequency, and avoid doing strange actions just to increase counts—if it looks too script-like, I feel awkward myself...

Additionally, recently the staking unlocks and token unlock calendar are being brought up every day, and the anxiety about selling pressure really is contagious, so I don’t chase hot topics too much; I prefer to wait and see clearly later. It’s a safety step: every time I use a new protocol for the first time, I spend some time lowering the approval limit to the minimum. It’s a hassle, but it helps me sleep better. Anyway, FOMO is something that passes if you just endure a little.
