Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency: Ready to go to Iran as soon as possible.

On June 13, International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Director General Grossi said in a statement after Israel’s attack on Iran that nuclear facilities must not be attacked, and any military action that endangers the safety of nuclear facilities could have serious consequences for the Iranian people, the region and beyond. He called on all parties to exercise maximum restraint and avoid further escalation. Grossi also said that he is ready to travel to Iran as soon as possible to assess the situation and ensure the safety, security and non-proliferation of Iran’s nuclear facilities.
