The Monad Fund has officially confirmed on X that their token airdrop will take place on November 24, providing users in the ecosystem with a clear timeline for one of the most followed airdrop events of the year.

This event paves the way for the distribution of MON tokens to early and active contributors, before the official launch of Monad's mainnet (.

Previously, on October 14, the Monad Fund opened the registration portal for the airdrop, allowing users to link wallets, verify eligibility, and connect social media accounts in preparation for the distribution.

This registration portal is for users belonging to 5 different groups — from core members of the Monad community, on-chain DeFi users, to those broadly participating in the crypto space — to determine their eligibility status.

According to the blog post of the Fund at that time, the allocation program was designed to reward around 5,500 key contributing members in the community and about 225,000 other crypto users, following a multi-tier allocation model, allowing users to receive rewards from multiple categories if eligible.

It is still unclear the distribution ratio of tokens for each group, but according to Monad co-founder Keone Hon, the network will have a total supply of 100 billion MON tokens.
