Binance Launches "Binance Buds," a Cryptocurrency Savings Account Designed for Children and Teenagers

December 3, 2025 — Binance today announced the launch of Binance Junior, an app and sub-account controlled by parents and designed for children and teenagers aged 6 to 17. This family-centric platform enables parents to help their kids accumulate crypto asset wealth and savings, preparing them for the digital financial future. Parents can open and manage crypto savings accounts for their children through Binance Junior. Underage users can save and earn income using Binance Flexible Simple Earn while trading activities are restricted to ensure safety.

Parents can fund Binance Junior accounts via the main account or on-chain transfers. By providing a controlled way for kids to experience savings and digital assets early, Binance Junior helps parents invest in their children’s financial future and cultivate positive saving habits. As cryptocurrency becomes increasingly integrated into mainstream finance, this new product aims to establish a solid foundation in personal finance and digital asset education for young users, enhancing long-term financial literacy and preparing them for a rapidly changing economic environment.

Binance Junior is suitable for all parents, whether they are experienced with crypto or just getting started with digital assets. With a simplified interface equipped with parental management and supervision features, as well as comprehensive security measures, Binance Junior allows children to begin their family’s digital finance journey in a safe environment. Users aged 13 and above (or higher if required by local law) can initiate transfers in the app, with daily transfer limits. Binance Junior does not allow trading, nor transfers to non-parental adults. Every Binance Junior account transaction notifies the parent, and parents can disable their child’s Binance Junior account at any time, instantly stopping all transfer activity.
