A new hub connecting China, the United States, and Asia-Pacific capital: the Asia-Pacific Innovation Center (APIC) Kuala Lumpur officially opened to build a new ecosystem of global business empowerment
The Asia Pacific Innovation Center (APIC), a strategic new landmark designed to reshape the business landscape in the Asia-Pacific region, was officially announced today in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. As a key business hub connecting China, the United States, Asia-Pacific and the Middle East, the opening of APIC marks the official launch of a new ecosystem integrating Web3 innovation incubation, global education empowerment and cross-border capital integration.
At the opening ceremony held that evening, Eugene Xiao, President of the DID Alliance and Chairman of the Asia Pacific Innovation Center, delivered a speech outlining the vision of the Center to global partners. Based in Kuala Lumpur, APIC will be committed to breaking down geographical barriers and providing enterprises with full-link support from start-up incubation to international expansion by integrating the world’s top financial, technological and educational resources.
Three core drivers define the future of business
APIC is not just a physical space but also a dynamic resource integration platform. In his speech, Eugene emphasized that the core competitiveness of the center is condensed into three driving forces:
Business-driven: Create a global full-link service system. APIC will become the intersection of Web3 innovation projects and traditional business, not only providing one-stop incubation support from technology, compliance to market, but also committed to assisting traditional enterprises in digital transformation and helping them set sail overseas.
Education Empowerment: Cultivating future-ready global leaders. The Center announced strategic collaborations with top global universities such as the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), UCLA Anderson School of Business (UCLA Anderson), and Universiti Negara Malaysia (UKM) to introduce blockchain and cutting-edge technology courses, and to provide the industry with global perspectives through the issuance of authoritative certificates.
Alliance Ecosystem: Build a cross-regional strategic network. With the strong support of DID Alliance, HotLink, 42X Fund, DPIN, Tang Ren, HKIT and other institutions, APIC has built a diversified ecosystem covering finance, technology and industry, providing members with unparalleled capital support and forward-looking insights.
Six major strategies were signed to jointly build a diversified and win-win ecology
At the inauguration ceremony, the Asia Pacific Innovation Center demonstrated its strong resource cohesion and signed memorandums of understanding (MOUs) with six heavyweight institutions to comprehensively lay out the four major areas of digital economy, business innovation, education and social responsibility:
· Promoting the Digital Economy and Connectivity: APIC has reached strategic cooperation with the Singapore Digital Chamber of Commerce (SDCC) and the Fujian General Chamber of Commerce (MFCCI) respectively. The two sides will focus on cross-border digital trade, regional science and technology ecological construction and global resource integration of Fujian businessmen, and jointly explore new opportunities in the Asia-Pacific digital economy.
· Empowering Enterprises to Innovate and Go Global: APIC and Regal Global Sdn Bhd will collaborate on business development, high-value project incubation, and cross-border strategic initiatives to help enterprises achieve leapfrog growth.
· Deeply Committed to International Education and Youth Development: Focusing on the Power of the Future, APIC has signed a cooperation agreement with Globalfront International Sdn Bhd and World Quanzhou Youth Friendship Association Malaysia Branch. All parties will be committed to promoting international academic exchanges, young leader training, and cross-cultural business cooperation to reserve innovative talents in the Asia-Pacific region.
· Social Responsibility: APIC has established a partnership with the Malaysian Community Volunteer Organisation (AKRAM) to empower communities through technology and education, promoting social welfare and sustainable development.
Looking forward to the future: jointly build an open business ecosystem
In his closing remarks, Eugene said: "The establishment of the Asia Pacific Innovation Hub is a new interpretation of our concept of ‘connected’. We are positioned as a strategic hub connecting global capital and markets, but it is not just about connecting business interests, but also about the deep integration of talent, wisdom and opportunity. Looking ahead, APIC will serve as an important engine for regional cooperation and innovation. We look forward to working with all partners to build an open, diversified and win-win business ecosystem and inject new growth energy into the Asia-Pacific region. ”
