Foresight News Nachrichten, Das FBI (Federal Bureau of Investigation) warnt, dass die nordkoreanische Cyberangriffsgruppe Kimsuky bösartige QR-Codes nutzt, um gezielte Phishing-Angriffe durchzuführen. Zielgruppen sind Think Tanks, akademische Institutionen sowie Organisationen im Bereich Diplomatie und Internationale Angelegenheiten. Die Angriffe erfolgen, indem sich die Täter als bekannte Persönlichkeiten im Bereich Außenpolitik ausgeben und in E-Mails QR-Codes mit bösartigen Links einbetten, um die Opfer dazu zu verleiten, von ihrem Computer auf mobile Browser zu wechseln, wodurch die E-Mail-Sicherheitsmaßnahmen umgangen werden.
