微博接入Kimi Claw

According to IT Home’s report on March 10, Weibo officially announced integration with Kimi Claw. Users can remotely connect and control the AI assistant on mobile devices in just two steps: follow the Lobster Assistant Weibo account and send a private message with “Connect Lobster.” After completing the API key configuration as guided, users can issue commands via Weibo on their phones at any time, allowing the AI Lobster Assistant to perform information analysis, content creation, and task management.

Kimi Claw’s Integration with Weibo: Operational Framework and Core Features

This Weibo and Kimi integration aims to significantly lower the barrier for general users to experience front-end AI assistants. The setup process is simplified into two steps:

Step 1: Follow @WeiboLobsterAssistant on Weibo and send a private message “Connect Lobster.”

Step 2: Complete the API key configuration following the system’s instructions.

Once set up, users can directly give commands to the AI Lobster Assistant through chat within the Weibo app. Common high-frequency scenarios include real-time information interpretation, trending market tracking, rapid event response, and personal account management. Weibo officials state that by connecting the OpenClaw ecosystem with Weibo user scenarios, this integration provides a replicable implementation path for AI vendors.

Strategic Assets Brought by Weibo Ecosystem to Kimi: Four Core Advantages

Leveraging Weibo’s rich social data assets, Kimi AI continues to be empowered in the following areas:

Real-time Information Coverage: Weibo’s hot search rankings and trending discussions provide vast amounts of real-time social hotspots, enabling Kimi to quickly understand social issues and respond promptly.

Diverse User Ecosystem: A large and active user base offers a natural data environment for AI assistants to iterate and optimize through genuine social interactions.

Developer Foundation: Weibo’s mature developer ecosystem lowers technical barriers for AI vendors to integrate quickly.

Future Data Opening Plans: Weibo plans to further open access to blogger historical articles and hot search content for AI applications.

On the same day, Hefei High-tech Zone officially released a draft action plan for the OpenClaw AI Startup Ecosystem Demonstration Zone, introducing 15 support measures, offering up to 10 million yuan in funding, and providing a full-chain support scheme including “space + talent + computing power + scenarios + capital,” demonstrating high-level local government attention to the implementation of the OpenClaw ecosystem.

Security Warning: Fake OpenClaw npm Packages Stealing Crypto Assets

As the Kimi Claw ecosystem rapidly expands, security researchers have issued warnings about surrounding security threats. SlowMist Technology warned on March 10 that malicious npm packages named “@openclaw-ai/openclawai” are circulating, disguised as legitimate “OpenClaw Installer” command-line tools, silently deploying multi-layer attack chains during installation.

JFrog security researcher Meitar Palas revealed that this malicious software system, named GhostLoader, systematically steals system credentials (via fake keychain prompts prompting for passwords), encrypted wallet private keys and seed phrases, browser passwords and cookies, SSH keys, Apple Keychain data, and iMessage history. After theft, the malware implants a Remote Access Trojan (RAT) with full remote control capabilities, including SOCKS5 proxy and real-time browser session copying.

Security experts advise: When installing Kimi Claw or OpenClaw-related tools, only use verified official channels. Do not install from third-party or similarly named npm packages, and be highly cautious of tools that request system passwords during command-line installation.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How to start using Kimi Claw Lobster Assistant on Weibo?
Users need to follow @WeiboLobsterAssistant on Weibo, send a private message “Connect Lobster,” then follow the instructions to complete API key setup. After setup, users can remotely control the AI Lobster Assistant via Weibo on their phones at any time, without needing a PC or additional apps.

Q: How does Kimi K2.5 model rank within the OpenClaw ecosystem?
According to OpenRouter’s OpenClaw model call ranking data, the Kimi K2.5 model currently ranks first globally, indicating its high usage frequency and user acceptance within the OpenClaw ecosystem.

Q: Why are security researchers issuing warnings about OpenClaw-related npm packages?
Due to OpenClaw’s high visibility, attackers have forged malicious npm packages like “@openclaw-ai/openclawai,” disguised as official installation tools. They use social engineering to trick users into entering system passwords, thereby stealing encrypted wallet private keys, SSH keys, browser credentials, and other sensitive information, and implanting malware with full remote control capabilities. Researchers recommend only installing from official channels.
