Harvard University conducted a 25-year study on the impact of goals on life, targeting a group of young people with similar age, environment, and conditions. The results showed that 27% of young people without goals ended up in the lowest strata of society after 25 years. 60% of those with vague goals became mediocre individuals after 25 years, while 10% of young people with clear short-term goals became the backbone of society, and 3% with clear long-term goals became elites in various fields after 25 years. Having goals, the clarity of those goals, and whether they are long-term or short-term may seem insignificant in the short run, but they have a tremendous impact on our future development!
