Bhutan allocates up to 10,000 Bitcoins to support emerging economic centers; crypto asset reserve strategy is further upgraded.

【Crypto World】The Kingdom of Bhutan has just announced a major move—taking out up to 10,000 Bitcoin from the national Bitcoin reserve to invest in the economic center construction of Gleep Mindfulness City. Based on current market prices, this asset is valued at approximately $1 billion.

King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck emphasized in a statement that this move is to ensure all citizens can become stakeholders and beneficiaries of the project. Project leader Gigdrel Singay added that these Bitcoins are not intended for direct sale but will consider strategies such as collateralization and yield generation to unlock the asset’s potential.

According to on-chain data platform Arkham, Bhutan currently holds 5,984 Bitcoins. Notably, since the beginning of this year, Bhutan has continued to deepen its crypto asset layout—besides Bitcoin, Ethereum and Binance Coin have also been incorporated into the national reserve system. Even more interestingly, they have also innovatively launched a gold-backed digital token TER on the Solana network, further expanding the application boundaries of the crypto ecosystem.

Bhutan's move is really impressive, directly treating Bitcoin as a national strategy, while simultaneously allocating ETH and BNB and still engaging in new activities on Solana. It can only be said that their vision has expanded. --- Instead of dumping, the billion-dollar BTC considers collateralized lending? This logic is indeed much clearer than some project teams, haha. --- Small countries are actually the most aggressive in crypto, while developed countries are still hesitating. Do you understand the difference in treatment? --- Collateralized lending... Bhutan is really using crypto as infrastructure, not just hoarding it. --- If this pace continues, Bhutan will become the place with the highest crypto GDP, truly remarkable. --- Wait, with only 5984 coins nationwide, dare to take out 10,000? Something's not right with this data.

Bhutan's move this time is really amazing. They are treating BTC as a strategic asset, not selling or dumping, just collateralizing to earn interest... This is the true hodl philosophy.

Bhutan's move is really impressive. Investing 1 billion USD directly and claiming not to sell off? Why do I find it hard to believe... By the way, Bhutan is now more aggressive than Brazil, directly making moves on Solana... A national-level player entering the scene is different. The staking and earning model, frankly, is about wanting to earn interest without dumping the market. 10,000 Bitcoins as infrastructure, how wealthy must they be... We are still watching the K-line, they are looking at the future. Bhutan has truly become a small millionaire in the crypto world. Are they trying to use Bitcoin to boost national fortune?
