Speaking of the 078 coin, I really want to slap myself.

Starting to build a position at 0.078, I was full of confidence, thinking this was a value dip. As a result, I kept adding to my position until it reached 0.29. Watching the holding amount grow larger, my mindset gradually collapsed. In the end, I was painfully educated by the market, losing 500U directly.

Looking back now, that 500U was not only tuition but also a lesson on stop-loss. Many people (including myself) tend to fall into this trap: adding more as the price drops, and feeling more distressed the more they add. The result is turning small losses into big ones.

If I had to summarize something, it would be: decide on a stop-loss price before building a position, and be ruthless when it hits—don't think about a rebound. The market is always smarter than you. Instead of betting on a rebound, it's better to preserve your capital for the next opportunity.

Oh, this is the gambler's mentality. The more you lose, the more you want to recover, but instead, you get deeper and deeper. I've been beaten up like this too. Honestly, what I learned from the $500 lesson is worth more than reading a hundred posts. Stop-loss may sound simple—just a click of a finger—but when that moment comes... nobody wants to let go. Actually, it's just that people don't take risk management seriously. When building a position, you should have already thought about the exit price. Don't regret it only after you're trapped. This loss was worth it; just remember it well. Next time, don't be greedy.

This is a typical gambler's mentality: the more you lose, the more you want to recover, and in the end, you dig your own grave. --- Damn, $500 tuition fee, but still cheap. Some people lose even more. --- Adding to your position is really a poison; once you do it, you're hooked. --- That's right, but I can't listen. Next time, I’ll have to repeat this lesson. --- It's just two words: discipline. Unfortunately, no one listens. --- It looks like I've understood, but I bet you'll repeat this pattern with your next coin. --- Even when stop-loss is set, I don't dare to press it—that's the hardest part.
