Hello everyone, there’s already movement on the second day of the new year. A leading exchange’s innovative board announced the first airdrop project of the year—AI Avatar(AIAV), which is said to go live tonight. I spent the whole morning researching this project, and my conclusion is: it’s a bit complicated. On one hand, I think this wave is worth paying attention to; on the other hand, I have to admit the risks are indeed significant.

Let’s first look at the project direction. AIAV targets the intersection of AI and blockchain, but the approach is quite clear—it's not about burning money to develop large models. They aim to realize a "decentralized AI personality," in other words, your digital avatar could truly become your own asset, capable of learning and interacting, fully controlled by you. This idea itself is fine, with plenty of room for imagination, and such AI Agent narratives are likely to become market hotspots by 2026. Plus, launching on a top exchange right from the start definitely adds face.

But here, a big exclamation mark is necessary. After browsing through the information, a bunch of questions popped into my mind:

Background info is sparse. Who are the investors, how much funding was raised—reliable data is hard to find. Community enthusiasm isn’t high, discussions are limited, and there are no influential KOLs hyping it up. The most painful part is the tokenomics—what is the total supply, how is it distributed, when will it be unlocked… all these basic details are a mystery. Frankly, it’s like being invited to get on a ride, but no one tells you the destination or if there’s enough fuel—completely a blind box.

So what’s the conclusion? This project definitely has imagination, but the transparency of information is lacking, and the community foundation is too weak. People with spare funds can try a small part, but don’t go all in. Risks and rewards always come hand in hand.

Blind box projects always find someone to take on them. Anyway, it's the New Year, and everyone's itching to take a gamble. Another piece of information full of confusion, just wait to be cut. Tokenomics is a mystery? That's ridiculous. How can they not even understand this? Small-scale trials are okay, but don't expect to get rich. It feels like a game of luck. Airdrops have been overdone for a long time. Changing the appearance can still fool a new wave of inexperienced investors. Hot topics in 2026? Let's talk about that when we get there. I usually avoid projects without KOL endorsements, and this time is no exception.

Number placeholders sound good, but you can't even find financing information? How can you dare to get on board?

Here we go again with this new airdrop scheme, the information is all blacked out, and they still dare to target top exchanges? I really can't understand the mindset of these project teams. The concept of a digital twin sounds impressive, but no funding info, no KOL backing, and the tokenomics are still a mystery? Honestly, it just feels like a gambler's game. Playing small amounts is okay, but going all in just invites trouble. Anyway, let's see the real deal when the market opens this afternoon. I'm just watching from the sidelines. --- The biggest fear with blind box projects is this—they have a terrible background but still insist on riding the hype. It's heartbreaking enough that investors can't find out about this, so if they really have the skills, why hide it? --- Decentralized personalities sound good, but coming with this kind of airdrop setup? It feels pretty gimmicky. --- It's understandable to test the waters with small money, but the problem is most people can't hold that line. Once it starts rising, going all in is deadly. --- In a game of information asymmetry, retail investors always lose, and this time is no different.

Blind box projects have always been like this—less information, higher popularity. That's the magic, haha.

The information is not transparent, and even KOLs haven't spoken up. I really don't dare to touch this kind of blind box.

Blind boxes are just blind boxes, but investors can't find any information? That's outrageous, it feels more like gambling than investing.
