Recently, I looked into the data of new projects on Alpha, and it's quite interesting.
From a natural month perspective, the total airdrops in November and December were 32 and 31 respectively, appearing almost unchanged—about one new project per day, with little fluctuation. But if we remove duplicate airdrops, the situation reverses.
The number of unique projects has significantly declined. December only had 21 entirely new projects, a big drop from November. In other words, behind the seemingly stable airdrop data over these two months, there is actually a decrease in new projects and repeated projects are maintaining the numbers.
This trend is somewhat intriguing—are new projects really decreasing, or are airdrop strategies adjusting? It's worth continuing to observe.

Wow, the data is that different? It feels like the project team is playing with numbers.
A dozen or so new projects are missing, no wonder the recent airdrops feel increasingly weak.
That's why my engagement isn't as high now; it's all the same old faces.
Is the strategy adjustment really because there's nothing new? Anyway, the atmosphere has changed.
People call it optimization, but it's really just creative exhaustion.

Data can be deceptive, this is a classic case of survivor bias. New projects are down by 40%, and this signal is clear enough to warrant adjusting the allocation strategy.

Wow, are the duplicate projects just trying to inflate the numbers? This is outrageous. It seems the hype around Alpha is really fading.

Damn, data can be misleading. After deduplication, ten projects are gone, which is really outrageous.

The new projects have decreased by one-third, duplicate projects are supporting the market, and it's true that the momentum can't be sustained anymore.
