Some industries have particularly strong vitality. No matter how times change, they still need to exist.

The healthcare system is at the forefront. As long as there are people, medical treatment is needed, and hospitals will never fade away; in fact, they will only increase. With the growth of medical demand, pharmacies will inevitably follow suit—where there are hospitals, there are pharmacies, and this logic is fundamentally sound.

Service industries that cater to daily life are also irreplaceable. Auto repair shops require your physical presence; online parts shopping is convenient but still needs manual work; barbershops are needed by both men and women—these are cyclical hard demands; and the food industry needs no explanation—"People regard food as heaven," and people's three meals must be provided for. This market will only expand, not shrink.

The education and logistics industries are also strong in their respective fields. Educational demand accompanies the entire growth cycle of humans, becoming more complex and variable over time; online shopping penetration is rising, increasing reliance on logistics—these are positively correlated.

Finally, the financial industry—wherever there are people, finance is indispensable. Capital flow, asset allocation, transaction needs—these will always have a market as long as there is a market economy.

Of course, this list is definitely not complete. What do you all think—are there any other industries you believe are "perpetual motion machines" that will still operate after decades?

Finance is never out of date, but to be honest, I bet AI will gradually take over education and some medical diagnostics... Doctors and pharmacists might really need to panic.

The perpetual motion machine of the financial industry is right— as long as there are people wanting to make money, there will always be a market. Our Web3 circle is living proof of that, haha. --- No matter how much the healthcare industry is pushed, it can never be fully exhausted. People will always get sick; this is a fundamental necessity. --- I think logistics will become more and more refined through optimization, but it will never die out—unless humans stop consuming. --- Wait, what about industries like data security and privacy protection? They seem to be becoming more and more in demand. --- The food and beverage industry is truly unbeatable. No matter the era, people need to eat. No matter how advanced automation gets, it can't replace a good meal. --- I have reservations about education. If AI continues to develop like this, online education will face disruption, though it won't disappear entirely. --- Car repair shop owners can rest easy. No matter how many electric vehicles there are, they still need repairs, haha.

Wait, is the financial industry really a perpetual motion machine? What if one day global bartering becomes popular, haha

I do have some ideas about the financial industry, but they might be a bit controversial... I'm just worried that one day it could be completely replaced by an algorithm. By the way, it seems like AI diagnostics are also being developed in the medical field now. It doesn't feel as stable as people imagine. Wait, isn't this about certain industries having strong anti-aging capabilities? It kind of feels like an indirect diss of the internet industry. Barber shops are indeed resilient, but I wonder if self-service hair cutting devices will appear sooner or later... Regarding logistics, isn't unmanned delivery also being piloted now? It doesn't seem that absolute. Speaking of hospitals and pharmacies, the logic behind them also seems to be based on population size. What if the birth rate continues to decline?

Finance will never die, but I actually think healthcare will be the first to be transformed by AI. These "perpetual motion machines" are essentially driven by human nature's needs; as long as there are people, it won't stop. That said, in ten years, the shape of these industries will definitely look completely different.
