Before opening a position, ask yourself a question—do I really have an advantage?
Many traders skip this step. Chasing news hype, doing range scalping, low-entry points... Trading styles vary widely, but without genuine advantages backing them up, no matter how fancy the style is, it's useless.
The key is here: can you clearly explain why this trade is worth taking? Not based on intuition, not because you heard someone else say so, but a reason you can articulate yourself. If you can't answer, don't even put your finger on the button.
This way of thinking will filter out 90% of the junk orders. Developing this habit will make your trading results significantly different.

That's so true, I used to fall for this before. I would open a position with a blink of an eye, and it would all be losses. Now, before opening a trade, I must be able to clearly explain my reasons; otherwise, I just can't press the button, feeling like someone is pulling my hand.

That's so true, these are the pitfalls I've stepped into before. I used to click randomly, but now I ask myself three times before placing an order.

The consultation records show that 90% of the losing trades were actually made without proper risk warning before rushing into a position... This filtering logic is indeed like a health checkup for trading strategies; you need to first confirm whether there is genuine alpha before prescribing a solution.

That's true, but the reality is that 99% of people simply can't do it... I often stare at the screen for a long time before pressing the button, and in the end, I just go with my gut haha

I like this saying. So many people are just reckless, pressing the buttons without thinking, only starting to wonder why afterward. There's no real advantage; it's just a gambler's mentality.
