I don't want my son to be born into a situation where wealth isn't spread across various asset types.

But I want to provide a comfortable environment where he won't experience any of the hardships I faced early in life. The starting point makes a difference.

Forget it, don't worry so much. The most important thing for children is companionship and education. No matter how much money you have, you can't buy that.
