Ethos Season 2 just launched, and I decided to transfer 50% of my XP into NFTs. The reason is quite straightforward—OG NFTs are performing well, and their scarcity is real.

Participating in Ethos allows continuous earning of XP, which makes sense logically. But I am more optimistic about NFTs because they already have proven market liquidity. XP is an incentive within the ecosystem, while NFTs have established a genuine value discovery mechanism. Instead of hoarding XP, it's better to take advantage of the current opportunity to acquire assets with actual trading depth. Staying active can recover XP, but the scarcity premium for NFTs is fleeting.

Alright, it's the same old story. NFT liquidity sounds good and impressive, but what happens when it's time to sell? I've seen too many projects with floor prices continuously dropping.

NFT liquidity is indeed more reliable than XP, but a 50% ratio is a bit aggressive. Earning XP should be considered a side job; the main focus should still be on assets with underlying consensus.
