Recently, institutional actions on Ethereum have become more frequent, which is worth paying attention to. According to data, a major crypto fund's Ethereum holdings have risen to approximately 4.17 million coins, with a market value of about $13 billion. Just last week, they increased their holdings by 24,000 coins, equivalent to $7.54 million in real cash.

Even more interesting is the staking portion. The fund's staked Ethereum increased from 660,000 to 1.25 million coins, nearly doubling. This simultaneous growth in both holdings and staking indicates that large funds' confidence in Ethereum is not just lip service.

Market voices are also heating up. Standard Chartered Bank has given a relatively aggressive prediction, believing that by 2026, Ethereum could surge to $7,500, and has defined that year as the "Year Zero." Investment strategist Tom Lee offers a different perspective—he believes that the popularity of stablecoins and the trend of asset tokenization will gradually push Ethereum to become Wall Street's main settlement layer, and that 2026 could see a real revival in the coin's price.

Regarding cycle predictions, many analysts believe 2025 will be a period of leverage washout, with the market entering a "small cold winter." But after 2026, the situation is expected to reverse, entering a recovery phase, with potential further growth in 2027 and 2028. With this logical chain, the current holdings actions of institutions make a lot of sense.
