Another major news event in Libya has attracted attention. According to Hong Kong media Ming Pao, Saif al-Islam Gaddafi, the second son of the late Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi, was shot and killed this Tuesday in Zintan, northwest Libya, at the age of 53. The death of this prominent figure in Libyan politics has sparked widespread concern.

Libyan judicial authorities responded shortly afterward, with the prosecution officially announcing on Wednesday that they have initiated a judicial investigation into the death incident. The relevant departments stated that they will conduct an in-depth investigation into the specifics of the event to clarify the truth behind this sensational incident in Libya.
