Affected by the tense situation in the Middle East, Bitcoin's price fell below $67,000, dropping to around $63,255 after the US launched airstrikes against Iran, before rebounding somewhat. Ethereum's price also declined, with trading prices approaching $1,950. Fundstrat's Sean Farrell pointed out that the resilience of cryptocurrencies is a positive sign, but he warned that further spikes in oil prices caused by the conflict could offset the short-term positive outlook. Bitcoin has fallen 23% so far this year.
