Techub News: Metaplanet plans to raise approximately $765 million USD to increase its Bitcoin holdings to 210,000 BTC.
Fundraising methods:
1. Private placement to institutions at 2% premium, raising approximately $255 million USD; paired with 10% premium warrants, raising an additional approximately $276 million USD.
2. Issuance of 100 million mNAV-linked moving exercise price warrants (exercisable when stock price exceeds mNAV by 1.01x), expected to raise approximately $234 million USD.
Officials stated that this plan can enhance per-share Bitcoin holdings and shareholder value.
