On the 18th, local time, Iran’s National Iranian Gas Company issued a statement saying that at around 14:00 that day, facilities related to the South Pars gas field in Iran were attacked by hostile forces, triggering a fire. At present, the blaze has been completely extinguished, and the country’s energy supply remains normal. Iran’s National Iranian Gas Company confirmed that there are no reports of casualties in this incident, and that all on-duty employees are safe. Currently, technical personnel are carrying out cooling and temperature-reduction work on the damaged equipment. Related experts and rescue teams have fully moved on site and are working to eliminate the impact and restore normal operation of the affected units as soon as possible.
