Robotics track leads the way with a gap, bipolar growth reshapes the competitive landscape

On March 25th, SUTENG Juchuang released its 2025 Q4 and full-year performance. With Q4 operating profit of 130 million yuan and net profit of 104 million yuan, SUTENG Juchuang achieved profitability for the first time in a single quarter, with a profit level far exceeding market expectations. At the same time, the robotics business saw explosive growth, with Q4 sales reaching 221,200 units, a year-on-year surge of 2565.1%; full-year sales reached 303,000 units, a strong year-on-year growth of 1141.8%, topping the #1 spot in total sales in the robotics sector.

In Q4, the company’s total lidar sales reached 459,600 units, a year-on-year increase of 183.2%; the overall gross profit margin was 28.5%, up 6.4 percentage points year-on-year; total revenue was 751 million yuan. Of this, robotics and other product revenue was approximately 347 million yuan, and ADAS product revenue was approximately 361 million yuan. The product revenue proportions were 49% and 51% respectively, further consolidating the “vehicle + robotics” dual-engine development pattern.

For the full year of 2025, SUTENG Juchuang’s revenue, sales volume, gross profit, and other key indicators hit new highs again, and its profitability continued to improve. Full-year revenue was approximately 1.941 billion yuan, full-year sales were approximately 912,000 units, and full-year gross profit was approximately 514 million yuan, up 81.3% year-on-year.

As the importance of the robotics business in enterprise revenue continues to rise, the lidar industry is now seeing a comprehensive shift in evaluation dimensions. A multi-dimensional evaluation framework of “vehicle base platform × robotics growth engine × technology gap barrier” has become the core framework for measuring a company’s sustainable development. Based on the technology-gap moat and the expansion of diversified business, SUTENG Juchuang will occupy a leading position in the industry under this new framework.

Fully leading the robotics market, with strong results from the dual-engine drive

The explosive growth of the robotics business has become the core driving force behind SUTENG Juchuang’s performance exceeding profit expectations. According to multiple third-party data, in 2025, SUTENG Juchuang ranked #1 in 3D lidar sales in China’s robotics sector. In addition, in sub-sectors, it ranked first globally in lawn-mowing robots, first in China in commercial cleaning and sanitation robots, first in China in humanoid robots, first in China in autonomous delivery vehicles, and first in China in embodied intelligence robots in terms of lidar product sales. The robotics business has officially become the company’s second growth curve:

• In the Robotaxi market, SUTENG Juchuang has already established cooperation with more than 90% of industry leading companies, including Baidu Luobu (Radish) KuaiPao, Didi autonomous driving, WeRide, Pony.ai, Uber, and others. The “EM4 thousand-line main lidar + E1 blind-spot lidar” product combination has become the preferred solution for next-generation vehicles, with up to 8–10 lidar units per vehicle;

• In the lawn-mowing robot market, SUTENG Juchuang has reached deep cooperation with leading brands such as NIU’s intelligent lawn-mower brand Weilan Dalu and KUQU Technology, and others. It has also added an exclusive designated order from a leading cleaning robot brand in the lawn-mowing robot sector, with deliveries to begin within the year.

• In the autonomous delivery market, digital product solutions have become the common choice of leading domestic and overseas enterprises such as New Stone Age, White Rhino, JD.com, Meituan, Coco Robotics, and others, with coverage of 90% among top-tier customers;

• In the embodied intelligence robot market, SUTENG Juchuang has already cooperated with nearly 50 leading humanoid and quadruped robot companies, including ZhiYuan, Unitree, UBTech (Xinzheng), Galaxy General, and others;

• In the commercial cleaning robot market, it has topped the industry with a 71% market share, with more than 60 cooperation customers.

For the vehicle side, based on the company’s self-developed digital chip architecture, it has built a digital lidar product matrix that can scale to mass production up to 2160 lines, fully meeting different requirements from L2 to L4. Among them, EM4, as the only mass-producible super-500-line digital lidar in the industry, has been gradually mounted in flagship models such as IM Motors LS6, IM Motors LS9, and Zeekr 9X to achieve mass-production applications. As of now, SUTENG Juchuang has cumulatively secured fixed-point orders for 167 vehicle models from 35 automakers, helping 69 models achieve SOP. Customers include leading automakers such as BYD and Geely, as well as multiple “phenomenon-level” new forces and leading SUV brands. In the international market, SUTENG Juchuang has also cumulatively secured 33 fixed-point cooperation projects from 14 overseas and Sino-foreign joint venture brands, covering all core automotive markets in Asia-Pacific, Europe, and North America. With more than 70% market share, it ranks #1 among lidar suppliers for joint-venture automotive brands in 2025.

In innovative businesses, SUTENG Juchuang has deepened its self-research of core components from “eye” to “hand,” launching innovative products such as the “Robot Eye” Active Camera series AC1 and AC2, as well as multi-degree-of-freedom dexterous hands. By the end of 2025, it will deploy its first embodied intelligence solution, supporting the world’s first robot delivery messenger (“delivery guy”) to achieve ultra-long-range, highly dexterous, and highly flexible human-like operations through full-stack AI capability. It also helped Geesong Technology win the championship in the dexterous hand competition.

In addition, SUTENG Juchuang has further strengthened collaboration with NVIDIA’s ecosystem, becoming the preferred perception partner for NVIDIA Jetson, DRIVE, and Omniverse—providing advanced digital lidar solutions for leading automotive and robotics enterprises worldwide. Meanwhile, NVIDIA Robotaxi Ready platform has aggregated multiple industry customer partners of SUTENG Juchuang, including BYD, Geely, Nissan, Toyota, Lucid, Uber, Pony.ai, WeRide, Momenta, and others, forming a complete ecosystem network covering mainstream automakers, mobility service providers, and L4 enterprises.

Technology gap shapes the product moat, and leading effects emerge

From a technical standpoint, intelligent vehicles are a specific form of robots. Both share a common technical architecture centered on perception, decision-making, and execution, and the technology path and product solutions of lidar have a high degree of reusability. With the robotics market fully taking off in 2025, the robotics business has become one of the most growth-potential application directions for the lidar industry, exerting a profound impact on the fundamentals of enterprise development.

Against this backdrop, the evaluation criteria for lidar companies are shifting from a single dimension of “vehicle front-end installation volume” to a multi-dimensional framework of “vehicle base platform × robotics growth engine × technology gap barrier.” This shift will more comprehensively measure companies’ growth initiative and their ability to overcome cycles, leading to a comprehensive reshaping of the market competitive landscape.

Benefiting from strong market demand, SUTENG Juchuang has completed a 4 million-unit annual production capacity layout and is expected to achieve at least a two- to three-fold year-on-year increase in lidar sales in 2026.
