Wine Price Insider April 4th Price Release: Terminal total prices decline, most individual product prices adjust downward
Sina Finance “Wine Price Insider” Launches with a Bang: Know the Real Market Prices of Famous Baijiu
Data collected over the past 24 hours by Sina Finance’s “Wine Price Insider” shows that the retail prices of major single products in the Chinese Baijiu market slightly declined overall on April 4th. If one bottle of each major product is bundled and sold together, the total price today is 9,965 yuan, down 19 yuan from yesterday. After a significant rise yesterday, the market showed a divided trend today, with the price center slightly moving downward and a clear adjustment at high levels.
Today, in the Baijiu market, 11 major products saw three increases, seven decreases, and one stable. Among the increases, Xijiu Junpin led with a 7 yuan per bottle rise compared to the previous period; Qinghua Lang increased by 5 yuan per bottle and achieved three consecutive positive days; Wuliangye 1618 rose slightly by 1 yuan per bottle. On the decline side, Yanghe Mofeng Blue M6+ fell the most, dropping 13 yuan per bottle, with noticeable price corrections in some markets in Central China; boutique Moutai fell back by 7 yuan per bottle, after multiple previous increases reaching new monthly highs; Feitian Moutai, Guojiao 1573, and Gojingong Gu 20 all dropped 3 yuan per bottle; Qinghua Fen 20 decreased by 2 yuan per bottle; Crystal Jian Nan Chun fell slightly by 1 yuan per bottle. The price of Wuliangye Puwu Baidai remained unchanged compared to the previous period.
The “Wine Price Insider” daily data source is from approximately 200 collection points reasonably distributed across major regions nationwide, including but not limited to designated distributors of liquor companies, social distributors, e-commerce platforms, and retail outlets. The original sampling data reflects the actual transaction terminal retail prices handled at each point over the past 24 hours, aiming to provide an objective, scientific, and fully traceable dataset on the market prices of well-known Baijiu. With the official iMoutai platform starting sales of Feitian Moutai at 1,499 yuan per bottle on New Year’s Day (raised to 1,539 yuan per bottle in the early hours of the 31st), and boutique Moutai at 2,299 yuan per bottle on January 9th, the magnetic influence of this new channel on the retail prices of these two products is gradually becoming apparent. The daily prices published by “Wine Price Insider” follow a weighted calculation based on actual transaction volumes, and we have incorporated quantifiable prices into the terminal retail prices of these two products.

In important news from the Baijiu industry, the Shanghai Securities News reported on the 3rd that the iMoutai platform adjusted the purchase rules for Feitian 53% vol 500ml Guizhou Moutai on April 2nd, changing from multiple purchases per day to “one purchase per person per day,” regardless of the purchase quantity, only allowing one order per day. Several consumers have confirmed that the new rule has taken effect, with the system deducting the purchase count at the order confirmation stage. This is the second change in the purchase rules within the year, after an initial adjustment in early January, during which the purchase limit was reduced from 12 bottles to 6 bottles. The platform has not yet issued a unified official explanation for this rule change. Industry insiders suggest that this move may help improve the chances of ordinary consumers winning the lottery, thereby more accurately reaching the true consumer base. On March 30th, Guizhou Moutai announced an increase in the prices of Feitian Moutai, which is seen as an important step in its market-oriented reform and digital marketing efforts.
