CryptoWorld News reports that, according to The Block, Aave DAO approved an on-chain proposal on Sunday to fund the first part of the “Aave Will Win” framework, with approximately 75% approval votes. The proposal allocates $25 million in stablecoins and 75k AAVE tokens (about $6.8 million) to Aave Labs. The stablecoin portion includes an immediate issuance of 5 million aEthLidoGHO, 5 million issued in batches over six months, and 15 million issued in batches over 12 months. The AAVE portion will be linearly released over 48 months. The Aave Chan Initiative cast the largest opposition vote, totaling 166.2k AAVE. Aave founder Stani Kulechov stated that this proposal is “the most important proposal in Aave history,” and that the DAO will oppose any service provider lockups that come at the expense of token holders’ interests, adding that “the era of paying for governance proposals is over.”
