Anthropic plans to invest $200 billion in Google, accounting for over 40% of the total "revenue backlog" disclosed by the latter.

According to Dynamic Monitoring Beating, when Google announced last month that it would provide Anthropic with up to 5 gigawatts of server capacity, neither side disclosed the specific amount of the commitment. However, according to an insider, as part of an agreement set to take effect next year, Anthropic plans to pay Google about $200 billion over the next five years. This commitment means that Anthropic accounts for more than 40% of the total “revenue backlog” that Google disclosed to investors last week.
