——A game of dilemma reversal.

The current valuation of PDD already includes all known bad news (regulatory, compliance discounts, the downturn in Chinese stocks, uncertainty around new Pinduoduo), and maybe even some more. If any of these bad news prove not to be as bad as the market thinks — for example: Q1 financial report shows that profits didn't continue to decline after tax rate normalization; for example: Temu was shut down in Europe with small parcel duty-free, and the gap was made up through a semi-managed model; for example: the items launched on New Pinduoduo in Q3 received a 4.7 rating instead of 3 — the market will revert to its previous overly pessimistic view.
This process doesn't require PDD to become a perfect company, nor Temu to be wildly profitable, nor New Pinduoduo to turn into Amazon Basics. The market only expects that PDD's fundamentals do not continue to deteriorate. So we can buy now, or choose to wait. But don't rush into faith. Because although it's cheap, it is also full of uncertainties. $PDD
