On March 9th, according to News.bitcoin, the regulated digital asset exchange ATME in Bahrain launched a gold-backed Token supported by the country's Central Bank. Each Token represents one kilogram of gold, providing accredited investors with a secure and modern way to invest in gold without the hassle of physical gold storage. Alex Lola, CEO of ATME, stated that combining the stability of gold with Blockchain technology will promote financial inclusion in the region.
