OpenClaw founder questions Tencent's data collection of Clawhub skill data, calls for support to reduce server costs

Gate News reports that on March 12, in response to community user feedback, Tencent created Skillhub, which scraped all skills from Clawhub and imported them into its own platform. OpenClaw founder Peter SteinBerger posted a response on X platform. Peter SteinBerger stated that Tencent’s actions may constitute plagiarism and that they have not supported the project in any way. He also mentioned receiving some emails complaining about rate limits preventing quick data scraping. Peter SteinBerger also called out Tencent HY’s official account, hoping they could help reduce server costs, and wrote, “Don’t let my server costs soar into the five figures!”
