Gate News reports that on March 16, U.S. President Trump commented on tariff policies, stating that the most important decision for him is tariffs. Trump said that the courts know his firm stance and how eager he is to secure this victory for the country, but the court’s decision could hand over trillions of dollars to those countries and companies that have been exploiting the U.S. for decades. Trump stated that the Supreme Court’s ruling pleased these countries, but as the court pointed out, it has the absolute right to impose tariffs in another form and has already begun doing so.

Previously, on February 20, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that Trump’s trade tax policies were unlawful.
