Gate News Report, March 16 — NVIDIA’s GTC 2026 conference opened today in San Jose, California. The event runs from March 16 to 19, with approximately 30,000 attendees from 190 countries. This year, the conference features a dedicated OpenClaw experience zone called “Build-a-Claw” at GTC Park, where participants can customize and deploy persistent AI agents under the guidance of NVIDIA engineers. Attendees can name their agents, define personalities, and grant tool access for tasks such as calendar management, trip planning, fitness recommendations, and programming. There are three options for running environments: using cloud computing provided on-site, bringing their own DGX Spark or GeForce RTX laptops (ensuring no personal data on devices), or purchasing DGX Spark at the NVIDIA Gear Store and Micro Center on-site. The activities are scheduled from 1 PM to 5 PM on Monday and from 8 AM to 5 PM Tuesday through Thursday local time. NVIDIA also released the OpenClaw Playbook, offering step-by-step instructions for running OpenClaw to build local AI agents on DGX Spark. Jensen Huang will deliver a keynote speech today at 11 AM Pacific Time at the SAP Center, which will be streamed live online for free.
