Gate News, March 17 — Today, the OpenClaw GitHub Sponsors page was updated, with Tencent (Tencent) entering the Featured Sponsors section and taking the top spot; Tencent Cloud (Tencent Cloud) also moved to the top, alongside OpenAI and Baidu. It should be noted that the Tencent Cloud that appeared at the top today is not the same entity as the Tencent Light Cloud that appeared yesterday, as they are different brands under Tencent. Within a few days, three different Tencent accounts have appeared on the sponsorship list. Tencent previously caused community controversy by large-scale copying of OpenClaw skill packages on the SkillHub platform. When founder Peter Steinberger reposted Tencent Light Cloud’s sponsorship message, he commented, “love a good redemption arc.”
