Robinhood has officially set its sights on one of Southeast Asia’s fastest-growing retail investment markets—Indonesia. The company announced it has agreed to acquire two locally licensed entities, including securities broker PT Buana Capital Sekuritas and cryptocurrency trading platform PT Pedagang Aset Kripto, paving the way for its compliant entry into Indonesia. According to the plan, the transaction is expected to be completed in the first half of 2026. A Robinhood spokesperson told Decrypt that there are currently no further integration details to announce.
