Ethena officially announced that it will expand USDe’s collateral types after obtaining approval from an independent risk committee, with the goal of reducing concentration risk and achieving collateral structure diversification. It will cover four areas: institutional stablecoin lending and borrowing, real-world assets, basis trading in stocks and commodities, and financing for trading institutions.

Gate News reported that on March 13, stablecoin protocol Ethena announced an update to the sUSDe unstaking mechanism. The new mechanism will adjust the unstaking cooldown period from the previously fixed 7 days to a dynamic model, with the cooldown period floating between 1 to 7 days, depending on the proportion of liquid stablecoins in USDe reserve assets.

Gate News Report: On March 12, Ethena announced on March 13 an adjustment to the sUSDe unstaking mechanism. The new mechanism will change the cooldown period from a fixed 7 days since the project's launch to a dynamic model, linked to the amount of liquid stablecoins available in the USDe reserve. According to current reserve conditions, the sUSDe unstaking cycle has been shortened to 1 day. In the future, the cooldown period will dynamically adjust between 1 day and 7 days based on the composition of liquid assets in the USDe reserve.
