水浒传

"Water Margin" is a long novel created by Shi Nai'an at the end of the Yuan Dynasty and the beginning of the Ming Dynasty. It depicts the story of 108 heroes led by Song Jiang who gather at Liangshan Marsh to rebel against oppression, later accept amnesty, but ultimately fail. The novel portrays numerous grassroots heroes and demonstrates the theme of "officials forcing the people to rebel."
