Zhuge Liang (181 – October 8, 234), courtesy name Kongming, also known as Wolong, was a Han Chinese from Langya Yangdu (present-day Yinan County, Shandong Province). He was the Chancellor of Shu Han during the Three Kingdoms period and an outstanding politician, military strategist, tactician, inventor, and writer in ancient China.
