According to Jin10 data on April 10, Kremlin spokesman Peskov stated that the Russia-U.S. consultations held in Istanbul will not discuss solutions to the Ukraine issue, but will discuss the normalization of bilateral relations. A reporter also asked Peskov whether a timeline had been set for reaching an agreement during the consultations. Peskov said, "No, there is no timeline. The consensus reached by both parties is that everyone hopes to resolve the issues as soon as possible; however, the interests of both sides must be fully taken into account."
