Brothers, why is the funding so expensive? What's going on? Who knows?

Dear User, the funding rate is a fee set by Gate to maintain the balance between the contract price and the underlying asset price, usually applicable to Perptual Futures. It is a mechanism for the exchange of funds between long and short traders, and the exchange does not charge this fee, which is used to adjust the cost or income of the contracts held by traders, ensuring that the contract price remains close to the underlying asset price. Generally, the platform settles the funding every 8 hours at 0:00, 8:00, and 16:00 UTC (, and there are also contracts that settle funding every 2 or 4 hours, subject to the specific contract information.
