Everyone says Web3 is the future.
Decentralization. Freedom. Ownership.

But here’s the question:
Where is Africa in all this?

Are we just users — or will we be the ones building?

Are we creating dapps? Are we leading communities?
Or are we just following trends from elsewhere?

I started asking myself these questions when I joined Gate.io’s Creator Program.

They didn’t ask me to be an expert.
They just said: “Use your voice.”

So I did. I started in Hausa.
Talked about what crypto is.
Explained how to protect your wallet.
Shared what I’m learning.

Little by little — it started making sense.

Now I realize:
We don’t need to wait for perfect conditions.

We are enough to start.

Africa doesn’t need permission to join Web3 — we just need to show up.
