🛩️ 1. Operation "Rising Lion" – Israel's strike on Iran
• On the morning of June 13, Israel launched extensive airstrikes on key nuclear and military facilities in Iran, including sites in Natanz, Fordow, Tehran, and other provinces.
• Several high-ranking commanders of Iran were killed in the operation – in particular, Hossein Salami (, the head of the IRGC), Mohammad Bagheri (, the chief commander of the Iranian Armed Forces), and other top officers and nuclear scientists.
🚀 2. Iran's response — rockets, UAVs, and airspace coverage
• In response, Iran targeted Israel with dozens of tons from over 100 drones and fewer than 150 ballistic missiles. A large portion was intercepted by the Iron Dome system.
• Sirens sounded in both Tel Aviv and Jerusalem; there are currently no confirmed casualties.
