#ETH Golden Finance reported that Eigen Labs announced the completion of a $70 million funding round for EigenCloud, an Ethereum re-staking protocol led by a16z. A platform designed to extend blockchain-level trust guarantees to any Web2 or Web3 application, the use of EigenCloud will create a new stream of fees to support staking rewards. It is reported that the release of the alpha version of EigenCloud will be synchronized with the performance upgrade of EigenDA, achieving a throughput of 50MB per second on the Ethereum testnet, in addition, EigenCloud has also released a gated preview version of EigenVerify, which aims to adjudicate disputes in off-chain systems such as AI proxies or prediction markets.
