The CEO of Matter Labs criticized Solana for its lower level of decentralization and performance that does not match Ethereum's Layer 2.
According to Gate News bot, as reported by TapChiBitcoin, Alex Gluchowski, founder and CEO of Matter Labs, responded to Toly’s statement on the X platform. Gluchowski stated that Solana cannot compare to Ethereum (ETH) in terms of decentralization and censorship resistance, and it also falls short of using a single sequencer Layer 2 in terms of latency and performance.
Previously, Toly made it clear that Solana has no intention of “declaring war” on Ethereum, but rather aims to compete with centralized Layer 2 solutions built on Ethereum.
