On August 9, the official website of the People's Government of Henan Province released a notice on the issuance of the "Several Policy Measures to Support the Ecological Development of the Artificial Intelligence Industry in Henan Province" (hereinafter referred to as the "Measures"). The "Measures" provide substantial subsidies or support in ten aspects, including strengthening model research and application, enhancing computing power supply services, increasing efforts in talent recruitment and development, and strengthening the cultivation of high-quality enterprises, thereby "adding fuel to the fire" for the construction of the artificial intelligence ecology in Henan.

Why is Henan vigorously promoting the development of the AI industry? Wang Peng, deputy researcher at the Beijing Academy of Social Sciences, said in an interview with the Securities Times: "The development of AI can provide new upgrade paths and transformation directions for traditional industries, which plays an important role in promoting regional economic development."
