The more someone enjoys arguing and disputing, the higher their level of compliance tends to be. People with low compliance have a common trait: they possess a strong sense of subjectivity. They can see the essence of things and clearly understand their relationship with the matter at hand. They know very well what is important and what is not for them; this is called subjectivity. However, these individuals do not express their strong subjectivity through rebuttals and debates. Instead, those with high compliance often present themselves in the form of arguments and disputes. They claim to have strong subjectivity, but in reality, they often lack it. This serves as a subtle proof of compliance. What does this mean? When you have a very, very confident idea or belief, once someone opposes or questions you, you will desperately try to prove that you are right. This is an invisible form of compliance with the other party's logical reasoning. The essence of this behavior is that you are seeking acknowledgment from the other party. Those at a higher level understand that during such times, we are less likely to give you the recognition you desire. We aim to create a sense of distance that is neither too close nor too far, and only when this distance reaches a certain level will we satisfy your need for recognition. Then you will be very obedient to our commands. Essentially, this is a form of manipulation. The reason why such manipulation can occur and be effective is due to the psychological weakness of the disputing party. Let me tell you, when we are unaware and unconscious, our minds are already filled with various knowledge and information from society. Your thought system is based on an invisible cultivation from the outside world rather than the wisdom that emerges from within or results from your own active pursuit and contemplation. This represents a more invisible form of compliance, and the more unstable one's core is, the more easily they can be influenced by external evaluations, making them more likely to become the target of PUA (Pick-Up Artist) tactics. When you face various threats and violence, after a brief moment of compliance, before anything happens, in order to avoid a recurrence, you regulate your survival instinct. You turn this self-repression into a habit to exchange for peace; this is also a form of compliance. There is a saying in the Dao De Jing: 'The sage does nothing and yet nothing is left undone, teaching without words.'
