A gentleman should have the transformation of a dragon and a snake. When conditions are insufficient, he falls to the ground as a snake, bows down to the grass and weeds, associates with ants, dwells in muddy holes, and eats filthy things in order to secure a living.

When the conditions are ripe, the heavens become a dragon, soaring thousands of miles, able to call the wind and summon the rain, swallowing clouds and spitting mist, bestowing sweet dew, showcasing its talents.
When being a snake, do not become disheartened because you were once a dragon;
As a dragon queen, do not feel inferior just because you once were a snake.
