Asus slams a "sky-high compensation" of 99 billion! The target is aimed directly at Nokia, with the amount equivalent to 2/3 of its market capitalization.

According to patent media IP Fray, this week the London High Court (EWHC) held a hearing on a "high-value claim case," which is rooted in ASUS initiating a lawsuit in the United States through associated entities.

Asus accuses of patent "unauthorized use", targeting not only Nokia but also claiming up to $99 billion from American carriers. About 20% of the compensation amount may be borne by Nokia, and according to pre-market data on October 23 Eastern Time, this total claim amount is close to 2/3 of Nokia's current market capitalization, making it a "heavyweight showdown" in the field of patent disputes. #Gate2025年第三季度报告发布
