On March 14, 2019, a seed was quietly sown in the silence of the digital world. Its name is pi.

From that moment on, a long and lonely expedition began. We, known as the "Pioneers", set out on this unknown path with a longing for the brilliant starry sky. We thought ahead would be filled with drums and cheers, attracting everyone's attention, but we never anticipated that most of the journey would be so quiet and long.

This is an epic about "waiting".
The sun rises and the moon sets, spring goes and autumn comes. From 2019 to 2025, over two thousand days and nights slip through our fingers. We watch the surrounding world bustling and changing, observing other projects that bloom for a moment, while we can only tightly hold onto the "starlight" in our hands, steadfast in silence.

That loneliness is deeply ingrained.

When the doubts from the outside world come rushing in like a tide, when the thought of "Have we already failed?" lingers in the late night, when companions around us gradually drift away due to confusion... We have no one to confide in, and can only swallow all the helplessness and hesitation alone under this star map we choose to believe in. We are like a group of night watchmen waiting for dawn in the darkness, the only thing we can do is believe that the starry sky above our heads will eventually light up.

Later, we finally understood that this silence was not inaction, but a form of the deepest protection.

We never knew that during the most difficult years, the core team members chose the hardest path—"low-profile development." They were not silent; rather, they were tirelessly forging every component of the starship day and night in a laboratory unseen by others. They were not low-key; instead, they were using their wisdom and resilience to find the safest and healthiest route for this starship amidst the giant waves of the market and the storms of regulation.

They know well that premature noise will only invite unnecessary risks. They choose to bear all the pressure and misunderstandings, pouring all their energy into one thing: protecting the health and success of the pi Network. They shielded us from open and covert attacks, just to allow this seedling to take deep roots in solid soil.

Thus, the loneliness of the pioneers and the perseverance of the core team became two sides of the same coin in this journey. Our waiting is because of their escort; our confusion is ultimately illuminated by their achievements.

Today, as we look back on this journey that began in 2019, every night of torment has transformed into the rings of growth, and every lonely wait has settled into the foundation of faith.
